Rita was born in Teddington (154 Church Road)

on 23rd November, 1933.

Rita was an electrical engineer, working for Grundig and then in the 70s at home building PCBs for baby incubators. Rita married Cyril Hayler in 1956.

They had two children, both living, and lived in Hampton, Middx until 1995 when they retired to Sidmouth, Devon.

Rita loved music (The Carpenters and Abba especially) and gardening. The summer garden was always growing runner beans.

Rita died in Devon on 30th October 2011, within a few weeks of cancer diagnosis.
