Beatrice Emily EMPTAGE

Beatrice was born in Grove Ferry, Kent

on 16th January 1900

Beatrice grew up in Kent, where she met Edwin.

They married in Bromley on 29th October 1921, and moved to 154 Church Road, Teddington.

Beatrice had several jobs: Chlorination attendant at Kew Waterworks, and a telephonist at the GPO. She was also a Red Cross Nurse, and helped with tthe injured during the relentless bombing of Teddington during the second world war.

Beatrice and Edwin has three children, all buried here with them: Joy, John and Rita.

Beatrice died 21st April 1992, when her heart gave in to an infection (myocarditis).
